The Link Spiritual Magazine

THE LINK Magazine has now been re-launched in a handy handbag sized issue (A5).

We are currently working on a new website to accompany the magazine, with lots of features, news and events on for easy reading.   The hard copy version of the magazine will resume in April 2015 to allow us time to redevelop the website first.

Each time a new issue is out we will update this page and let everyone know on social media pages. In it you will find interesting and informative articles, as well as listings from local Spiritualist Churches, showing which Mediums & Speakers are booked for the present 3 months. You will also find advertisements for local Mediums, Healers & Holistic Therapists, as well as Events, Courses & Circles.

Its aim is three-fold:

  • To help those with a thirst for knowledge on Spiritual matters, allowing them to explore and learn from reputable sources
  • To promote a high standard of work locally in Spirituality, and for those seeking healing of any kind to help them find an appropriate healer/worker/resource for their needs.
  • To ‘Link Up’ local people who share the same interests & understanding enabling THE LINK to become our local directory in Spiritual & Holistic matters, and further afield where relevant to others.

Background

The Link was originally founded by Sonia Driscoll, leader at The Spiritual Development School near Watton in Norfolk, who guided it through its formative issues with an enormous amount of tenacity and determination that it should meet the very real need for knowledge locally. That determination that the magazine will fulfil that function now continues through editor Bella Brodie who continues to be supported editorially by Sonia and a wider team of contributors. That ensures its future meeting standards of understanding editorially required of a publication still working within the ethos of the School. Bella is a member of the school and the magazine continues to be an SDS (school) led publication.

For advertisers and contributors:

In order for THE LINK to continue to flourish, it needs input and support from advertisers. We welcome all of your contributions, Articles, Spiritualist Church & Group Listings, Inspirational Writing/Poetry, Book Reviews, Your points of view and anything you’d like to share. Our editorial policy is that we will consider all articles positively but cannot guarantee any as some months we have more copy submitted than others, then each will be assessed according to flow within the general magazine, quality of content, practical fit and time sensitivity. In our new format, one page will be approximately 350 words. We plan to include a mixture of short pieces and longer in-depth pieces, so the shorter your submission the earlier it is likely to be used.
Costs to advertise:

Our distribution is growing fast and it is a great way of reaching a unique target audience. The Link is available at a wide number of events and outlets, mainly in Norfolk and the East, and is also available by subscription. It is also distributed through the Spiritual Development School, and at Spiritualist churches and retreats.

The Link is also available online to view, download & print, enabling us to reach a much larger and wider audience. It will shortly also be available to read on any tablet/mobile device so we feel confident that its readership and reach will be vastly expanded with future issues.
If you’re looking to advertise your business or skills you will be wanting to reach a specific target audience – an audience that is interested in, and looking for ‘what you have to offer’. THE LINK is already reaching your audience and that can only get better.
